A HISTORY OF SUCCESS

In 1999 the company Pacific Trade and Industries approached ITL to design an equipment which could serve to help to the elderly, handicapped living alone and other people which can need the system.
The idea of Pacific Trade was to develop a micro transmitter which could be carries by a user as a wrist watch or chain, and in case of emergency , as a fall, a sudden sickness, noises in their home or others reasons, the user could send an alarm to a control center and from there recieve the required help. At that time they only needed a one panic button alarm system, connected to the regular phone lines. ITL after reviewing the request decided to go to a more ambitious design. A real voice transmitter wrist watch which used by the customer, in case of emergency in their home, could contact immediately the control center, and explain to the control operation the type of emergency and receive, by the operator, the confirmation the emergency help was on thier way. This equipment was designed along a control center, with a data base which automatically displayed the personal data of the patient, as name, address, type of health condition, relatives phone numbers, even a schematic of their house was included to help the emergency services to enter to the house and provide the required help.
The complete equipment (wristwatch, home station and control center with recording cappability) was developed in less tan 3 months by ITL, with total customer satisfaction and now the 911Total system is marketed in Argentina succesfully. The transmitter works perfectly at more than 50 meters (150 feet) of the station receiving clear voice of the patient, and it not only works in case of medical emergencies , but has proved their usefulness in case of robbery, where, once actived, the operator can listen and record to the crime and send the police immediately to the place giving them all the information of how to enter to the house.
The 911 Total system is an example of the mutully benefitial association between private industry and ITL.
